1.JCB OPERATOR 5 POSITIONS: (KILOSA, HANDENI, SUMBAWANGA & KILINDI)

JOB DESCRIPTION JCB Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating JCB equipment efficiently and safely to support our construction projects including Excavator, Loader and backhoe. You will work closely with the construction team to handle excavation, loading, and material transportation tasks. We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual with a proven track record in operating JCB machines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate JCB equipment, including backhoe loaders and excavators, to perform various construction tasks. Safely and accurately excavate, load, and move materials as per project requirements. Follow project plans and instructions to ensure precise and efficient execution of tasks Conduct regular inspections of the JCB machines, reporting any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the supervisor Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment at all times Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines and goals Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area Report daily work progress and any incidents to the project supervisor Participate in regular training sessions to enhance operating skills and knowledge. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate for this role should have, Proven work experience as a JCB Operator, or similar role for not less than 2 years. Crane Operation: Safely operate mobile cranes to lift and move heavy materials, equipment, and objects at construction sites and other job locations Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre-operational inspections of the crane to ensure it is in proper working condition. Identify and report any issues or maintenance requirements. Load Calculation: Calculate load weights and ensure that loads are within the crane’s rated capacity. Verify load stability before lifting. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating the crane. Maintain a high level of awareness to prevent accidents and injuries. Communication: Report any significant issues to the maintenance department. Documentation: Keep accurate records of crane operations, including lift plans, maintenance logs, and incident reports.

Safe Operation: Operate a low-bed trailer or lowboy truck in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring cargo stability during transit Loading and Unloading: Safely load and secure heavy equipment, machinery, or materials onto the low bed trailer, using chains, binders, and straps Route Planning: Plan and follow the most suitable and legal routes for transportation, considering the size and weight of the cargo and any permit requirements Permit and Regulation Compliance: Obtain and ensure the validity of all required permits and licenses for transporting oversized loads Safety Precautions: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the low-bed trailer and associated equipment, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo, routes, mileage, and fuel consumption.
