Who is Dr. Kaizer Motaung?

Dr. Kaizer Motaung is a businessman and philanthropist from South Africa who was born on September 10, 1953. He is a co-founder of the New Media organization VENDETTA, which includes a variety of industries such as e-commerce, sports, media, and real estate.

He was recognized by You Magazine in 2010 as one of “The Top 100 Most Influential People in South Africa.” He was listed by Forbes magazine as one of the “20 Youngest Power Businessmen in Africa” in 2008. In recognition of his contributions to society as an investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Kaizer received an honorary doctorate from the University of Johannesburg in 2012.

Vendetta Supports The Wanderers FC

VENDETTA and Kaizer support The Ebonie Wanderers, a youth soccer team that was created to give children from poor communities an opportunity to participate in sport and enjoy the social benefits of being part of a team. The team is fully funded by VENDETTA and Kaizer.

The team was created in partnership with the Ebonie Youth Foundation, an organization that provides holistic care for underprivileged children in townships throughout South Africa. The Ebonie Wanderers youth soccer team includes children with and without disabilities.

Vendetta Supports Scholarships for Women

VENDETTA and Kaizer support the University of Johannesburg Scholarship Fund that provides financial assistance to women who cannot afford to attend university.

The scholarship fund was created to address the gender gap in higher education in South Africa, a country where only 38% of students at universities are women. VENDETTA provides financial support to the University of Johannesburg Scholarship Fund.

The K-9 Fund has donated 10 service dogs to law enforcement agencies in South Africa and the USA, including the SWAT team of the Cedar Falls Police Department in Iowa. The Cedar Falls Police Department suffered a tragic loss when one of their K-9s, Jethro, was killed in the line of duty.

As a gesture of appreciation to the brave officers of the Cedar Falls Police Department, Kaizer donated a new K-9 to replace Jethro. The K-9 Fund has donated four service dogs to the SAPS Max-Task Unit, which is responsible for cadaver searches and evidence searches in South Africa. The K-9 Fund has also donated two service dogs to the Max-Task Unit of the South African Navy.
