We are looking for doers who are ready to roll up their sleeves and with their hard work and dedication create the impact needed in our communities.

1.Collections Officer, Dar Es Salaam

Monitoring and payment control of assigned portfolio of clients using Company software. Ensuring clients’ adherence to payment schedules through pro-active follow up calls and reminders. In case of clients overdue, identifying and implementing the most efficient debt recovery methods and techniques. Following up on phone calls with overdue clients to ensure debtor’s accounts are up to date. Maintaining records about clients’ financial status, reporting daily to the management. Developing and strengthening client’s relationships, regularly updating clients on Company policies and new products, providing tailor-made financial solutions through the range of products offered by the Company. Providing training and sharing knowledge with Interns/Trainees employed by the Company. Any other duty as may be assigned by the management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related studies Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Strong desire to learn along with professional drive. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly and work independently. Self-directed and able to work without supervision. Fluent in English and Swahili. 2.Internal Audit Associate

The Internal Audit Associate will assist the Internal Audit & Risk Manager in providing assurance on the effectiveness of controls in place to address risks to the achievement of Watu’s strategic and operational objectives. Track and manage reporting timelines and expectations Document effective audit procedures and workpapers Prepare draft reports that clearly state the internal audit conclusions and recommendations that are backed by evidence and documented audit processes Maintain back up (physical and electronic) of all internal audit materials for easy retrieval and reference and monitor adherence to document management process within the internal audit department Carry out other responsibilities as may be required by the Internal Audit & Risk Manager and the Head of Internal Audit & Risk

Key duties and Responsibilities

Assist in audit planning documentation, conduct walkthroughs, and assesses the internal control environment through control and substantive testing Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of internal audit engagements and projects in line with firm risk management practices. Prepare audit testing programs and assess the adequacy of the design and operation of the controls associated with the key risks identified Assist and support the Internal audit team in all planned audits, that includes financial, operational, compliance and information technology audits Build relationships with auditees and business management on each audit and develop ongoing relationships with key stakeholders in aligned business areas Lead discussions with auditees regarding audit observations Watu Credit Vacancies
