1.Forestry and Conservation Manager
The Forestry and Conservation Manager co-ordinates company conservations and fuelwood operations plans and implementations through partnering with site managers and teams / individuals concerned to ensure a balance of supply and demand of both short- and long-term fuelwood to the company factories. To help plan, lead and control all trees planting activities with a team of Operation excellence department, experts, and contractors. To implement overall company activities on forestry and fuelwood resources. To supervise efficient forestry and fuelwood operations of the company. To help on developing fuelwood demand and supply planning to maintain sustainable fuelwood supply for the company. Support the implementation of environmental targets for the Company including the local and legal requirements that support the Company’s Sustainable Living Plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and supervise forestry projects, such as determining the type, number, and placement of trees to be planted, managing tree nurseries, pruning, thinning etc. Tō control company forestry program, including the management of existing trials, establishment of new tree farms, and implement forestry risk assessment and analysis. Establish short -term and long-term plans for management of forest lands and fuelwood resources. Participate on technical negotiate terms and conditions of agreements and contracts for forest harvesting and forest management with minimum waste and environmental damage. Monitor compliance and results of forestry activities to assure adherence to safety, company environmental policy and government regulations.
2. Supply Chain Finance Business Partner
To provide expert Finance and accounting business support to operations managers to help them plan and monitor the financial performance of their business units to achieve their business objectives. ACCOUNTABILITIES Manage the preparing of Lipton Teas and Infusions Tanzania Limited Annual Budget by providing support to HoDs Do business partnering with Operations Managers and Department Heads by offering accounts support. Compute supply chain savings eg from automated operations, projects, cost savings initiatives, reduction of business waste, etc Prepare and cascade Unit profitability report by 10th of every month. Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies. Check internal controls for units and conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with controls in place. Ensure monthly accounts discussions are held with units and a report is submitted to the Finance Manager by 15th every month. Follow up is made on identified issues.

Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions. Ensure all Monthly journals and returns from units and departments are received and posted into the ledger correctly and as per the checklist. Train finance clerk on accounting policy manual on various accounting treatments which are done monthly. Provide information and explanations for internal and external auditors. Conduct stock taking exercise twice a year and resolve the variances timely. Monthly commentaries as per allocated department and ensure the movement is well explained and do make sense. Set targets for direct reports. Verify and approve online payment as per guideline. Perform any other duty assigned by the Finance Manager.

Assistant Medical Officer Job Vacancy at Lipton Teas and Infusions Tanzania Limited Job description: PURPOSE OF ROLE To supervise and provide high quality medical care and support to the medical department and Lipton Teas and Infusions Tanzania Limited ACCOUNTABILITIES implementation of medical ethics and standards as per Tanganyika Medical Board. Attending patients at OPD/Clinics Performing clinical ward round Coordinating major ward rounds every Wednesday for special cases. Supervise hospital laboratory services including complying to IPC and legal standards. Coordinate and supervise medical examinations across the company in collaboration with OSHA /unit /estate managers. Attending all hospital clinical, management, excellency, mortality, and CME meetings Ensure Electrocution drills are done to all estates /factories with AED. Any other specific tasks that may be assigned to you by Line manager /Country General manager. Performing elective and emergency surgical operations Support Medical Department on quality care of customers.
4. People Processes Auditor
The People Processes Auditor will provide and enable site/unit/country based structured and efficient auditing of all Blue-Collar People Processes. ACCOUNTABILITIES Audit of all People Processes at the unit level and feedback to Oversight Committee through HR. The Process Auditor will be required to conduct audits on implementation of the guidelines in place for the following people processes Recruitment of blue-collar employees. Promotion and acting appointments of blue-collar employees Work Allocation including tasking for Kando Jobs Allocation of limited work/light duties Performance Management including assessment of performance on kando job tasks. Termination of blue-collar employees for reasons other than discipline or end of contract. Any other people process involving blue collar employees.
