Responsibilities: –
- Keep the store organized and spotless.
- Create a purchase order, send it to several vendors, and get the manager to sign it.
- To properly acquire the items that the purchasing department has purchased and that the vendors have supplied in accordance with established protocols.
- To guarantee that the supplies acquired from vendors are accurate in terms of their quality, quantity, specifications, and condition. Return the indent for correction if you see any errors or inconsistencies.
- To appropriately stock the materials that are acquired from vendors in order to guarantee simple identification, verification, handling, upkeep, etc.
- In order to prevent damage and loss, it is important to make sure that supplies are properly stocked using the correct location codes, both number- and category-wise.
- To guarantee the user department receives materials in a seamless manner.
- Conduct routine physical inspections and stock position assessments to guarantee precise recording of commodities received and distributed.
- To guarantee that the appropriate safety precautions are taken for the protection of the store’s structure, its inventory, and the individuals who work there.
- To conduct a regular condemnation board for non-usable materials.
- To follow the protocol while disposing of scrap items.
- To keep all documents current with data. In the goods inward register, enter the bills.
- Create reports and send them to the manager who is in charge.
- To participate in the auditors’ audit.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics
- Data input abilities
- Two years or more of experience working as a store clerk, warehouse clerk, or in a similar position
- Computer abilities
- Paying close attention to the intricacies
- Math and inventory management
- Effective communication abilities
- Adaptability
