Jobs Vacancy: Specialist; Change Management at NMB Bank in Tanzania

Job Location: Head Office, Hq

Job Purpose:

The primary objective of this role is to focus on effectively managing Change Management processes. It entails ensuring that appropriate change plans are meticulously prepared and executed within defined timelines for all initiatives/projects. In collaboration with the Change Manager, your responsibility includes working with various stakeholders to facilitate the prompt adoption of changes across diverse projects/initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Utilize established frameworks and tools to contribute to the formulation of strategies for assigned Transformations.
  • Collaborate with communication teams to customize messages for specific stakeholder groups.
  • Monitor progress against defined success metrics and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks associated with change.
  • Regularly update plans based on data, feedback, and impact analysis.
  • Collaborate with project teams to seamlessly integrate Change Management activities.
  • Assist in developing clear and actionable steps for each stage of change initiative implementation.

Learning and Development (All changes and other training programs):

  • Assist in evaluating training programs and summarize key findings, including successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants, stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reports by aligning data with training program objectives and organizational change goals.
  • Support training administration by assisting with scheduling, booking venues, managing materials, and overall logistical support.
  • Support the development and delivery of Training Programs.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Change Management methodologies such as ADKAR Model, Lewins Model, Nudge theory, and any other relevant model.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective listening and communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Business acumen.
  • Project management and planning skills.
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with larger cross-functional and diverse background groups.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in fields related to ICT, Business, Economics, HR, or any relevant field of study from a reputable university.
  • 1 year of relevant Change Management experience (Experience in the Financial services industry is advantageous).
