Key Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Activity
- Develop distribution plan
- Supervise Food distribution
- Monitor food handling at FDP
- Supervise Field Monitors’ performance
- Compile food distribution report
- Attend food coordination meetings
- Enhance internal controls regularly
End Results
- The distribution plan was developed and shared with key stakeholders
- Food is distributed as per the approved process and beneficiaries get the right entitlement
- Food handling principles adhered too
- Quality services rendered
- Quality reports compiled and submitted
- Meetings attended
- Loses mitigated
KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLES
Required Professional Experience
- Three (3) years experience in working with humanitarian operations,
- Experience in handling commodities management
- Experience in working with refugee programs
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Training in commodities management, response training, human resources management, and management.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Degree in Accountant, Procurement, Community Economy Development
- Master is added value
Travel and/or Work Environment
- Refugee camps
Physical Requirements
- Should be physically fit
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English and Swahili

For child protection issues associated with food services
Refugee community leaders
Information dissemination to the communities at large
EDP staff
Food requests from the store and any communication related to food delivery
FBM
For effective understanding of discrepancies if any, timely.
