Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority serves all insurance registrants and players stated by the law and general public Functions of the Authority Registration of all insurance players; Supervision and Inspection of all insurance players; Handling insurance complaints from the public; Conducting insurance awareness to the Public; and Supervising insurance business and for related matters.

Duties and Responsibilities
To receive and process applications for registration and renewal of registration certificates, collect and tabulate statistical data on registration of players; analyze applications for registration and renewals for intermediaries and other service providers in line with prescribed requirements. study and analyze new insurance products to be offered in the market; attend to enquiries from the public or insurance players relating to registration requirements and other related insurance matters; participate in regular inspections; and perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience
Holder of a bachelor’s degree/Advanced Diploma in Insurance or Insurance and Risk Management or any other related qualification from a recognized Institution. Reinsurance skills will be an added advantage. REMUNERATION TIRAS 4, Nafasi za kazi TIRA
2. LEGAL OFFICER II – 2 POSTS
To in submission and collection of Court documents, to prepare legal briefs on insurance related matters, update all registers maintained by the Directorates handle all legal routines correspondences addressed to the Authority, to provide legal opinions in relation to Authority’s functions; QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Holder of Holder of bachelor’s degree in law (LL. B) from recognized institutions and must have attended and passed Internship or Law School of Tanzania. Reinsurance skills will be an added advantage.
