Our Tobacco brands are 100% Locally Owned, Trusted by Thousands of Tobacco growers in Tanzania. In addition, Our company provides ongoing support to its farmer base and employee communities through specific financial investments, programs, and projects aligned with local business activities. The brand draws inspiration from Africa Legendary Tribal chief Mkwawa.

We contract farmers to grow tobacco and then buy, blend, process and export Our company is committed to extremely strict Quality control processes from Leaf growing, Lab to packaging. Each process employs modern technologies for Moisture and Temperature control which ensures high quality end leaf products.

Mkwawa leaf tobacco company purchases the vast majority of its tobacco through direct contracts with over 26000 contracted tobacco growers in Tanzania. Through it’s registered 190 Primary societies. With our reliable third part transporters, trucks we moves purchased Tobacco from farmers associations Warehouses to our upcountry warehousing and later to our Factory for processing
