Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles, preferably within the plastics manufacturing industry. Excellent leadership skills, characterized by steadfast resolve and personal integrity. In-depth understanding of advanced business planning, regulatory issues, and industry best practices. Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making. Ability to diagnose problems quickly and anticipate potential issues. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. A master’s degree in business administration or a related discipline is highly desirable.

1. Departmental Oversight: The Chief Operations Officer will provide leadership and strategic direction to the following departments, overseeing their performance and fostering collaboration Production and Manufacturing Oversee all aspects of production and manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. Develop strategies to optimize production capacity, minimize costs, and enhance overall operational performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.

b) Supply Chain and Logistics Manage the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and components. Develop strategies to streamline the supply chain, improve lead times, and reduce costs. Quality Assurance Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards throughout the organization. Monitor product quality and customer satisfaction levels, driving corrective actions, when necessary, implement quality control measures to comply with industry regulations and certifications.

Engineering and Maintenance:

Provide strategic guidance for engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring optimal equipment performance and uptime. Drive innovation and efficiency improvements in equipment and facility maintenance. Oversee capital expenditure projects related to infrastructure and technological advancements. Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for market expansion and revenue growth. Provide guidance on pricing, market positioning, and product development initiatives. Monitor sales performance and customer feedback, making recommendations for improvement.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Foster collaboration and synergy among different departments to drive organizational effectiveness. Facilitate communication and coordination between departments to ensure smooth operations. Encourage a culture of cross-functional problem-solving and knowledge sharing. Financial Management:

Work closely with the finance department to develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics. Provide strategic guidance on financial planning, cost management, and revenue optimization. Review financial reports, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
