DART Agency is a government entity established by GN No. 120 of 25th May 2007 under the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997 and its subsequent amendments. The key role of the DART Agency is to establish and operate the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system for Dar es Salaam. The Agency aims at achieving the following objectives: Establish and operate Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system for Dar es Salaam, branded Dar Rapid Transit (DART), Ensure orderly flow of traffic on urban streets and roads and Ensure effective Management of the Agency. The Agency operates under the guidance of the President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG).
1.Senior Engineer – One post (1) (a) Qualifications
Holder of bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Highway Engineering or equivalent qualifications from recognized Higher Learning Institution with working experience of seven (7) years in related field. The candidate must be registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Professional Engineers (b) Salary Scale: DARTSS 7, Nafasi za kazi Dar Rapid Transit (DART) 2023
2. Internal Auditor I – One post (1)
Holder of bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration/Commerce majoring in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institutions plus either of CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification recognized by the NBAA with working experience of at least four (4) years in related field. (b) Salary scale DARTSS 6
3. Senior Internal Auditor – one post (1)
Holder of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields; Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration/Commerce majoring in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institutions plus either of CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification recognized by the NBAA with working experience of at least seven (7) years in related field. (b) Salary scale DARTSS 7
4. Office Assistant I. – one post (1) (a) Qualifications
Holder of national Form IV certificate of Secondary Education with passes in English and Kiswahili and has relevant working experience of at least four (4) years from a reputable organization (b) Salary scale DARTSS 2, Nafasi za kazi Dar Rapid Transit (DART) 2023
