Africa Relief is a non-profit organization that enables our partner communities to develop custom solutions to their most pressing challenges. We respond to emergencies with every means at our disposal – delivering food, digging wells, training women, providing healthcare, and sponsoring orphans and educational programs. We equip communities with the tools and skills they need to sustain themselves. We are looking to hire Employees in our new Location in Tanzania All Candidates should be fluent in English.

1.Project Assistant 

Oversee and manage all assigned projects Chair/attend stakeholder meetings Line management of assigned direct reports Review works arising and contribute to programmed discussions Monitor and support resolution of reactive and remedial work order performance Ensure all projects are assigned on time, within budget and with margin improvements where possible through resource and procurement efficiencies Continually risk assess projects, placing mitigating actions in resolution Collate/update associated reports and issue in a timely client relationships, including progress, scope clarification and variation activities. Maintain internal systems with accurate data Develop and maintain detailed project plans Manage trending and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

Conduct internal closed-loop reporting with other departments Develop and maintain process documents in a clear demonstration of business protocols and delivery expectations Demonstrate clear and visible leadership Maintain and monitor project plans, project structures Writing project status reports for upwards escalation Preparing necessary data and or presentation materials for meetings Ensure project deadlines are met Determine and log project changes Provide subject matter expertise support as needed to the Additional Works Team leadership Undertake assigned projects as required Be responsible for supporting projects employing Project Management methodologies and administrative support Update, maintain and interrogate information management systems and be the central point of contact for the account relating to lifts Monitor projects and associated key documentation throughout their lifecycle and assist with the smooth delivery of projects from end to end Develop and maintain a process for tracking and reporting New Works.

Qualifications.

Having a clear understanding of the statutory regulations. Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, project management, construction, building, or related field State-issued certification or engineering license Demonstrating the ability to take the lead with excellent communication skills. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good knowledge of project management approaches. 2.IT and Graphics Employee 

Provide technical support related to computer networks; Maintain, repaired, and configure all network devices within the company computer network; Participate in designing and installation of networks and related accessories and equipment; Troubleshoot all network-related problems; Document and communicate network-related problems, solutions, and the implementation process; Assign network resources and user accounts; Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses; Define network policies and procedures; Perform maintenance activities, systems backups and restore; and Perform any other duty as may be assigned by his/her superior.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution and professional networking certification such as CCNA is an added advantage. Nafasi za kazi Africa Relief and Community Development 2023

Working Experiences:

Three (3) years of proven working experience in a similar position. Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching. Excellent knowledge of best practices around managing, controlling, and monitoring server infrastructure. Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.

3.Administrative Assistant 

Managing all day-to-day HR administration tasks; ensuring that all employee and HR records are accurate and up to date; Coordinating efforts of Partners in ensuring smooth end-to-end recruitment process. Creating employee orientation/training materials under the guidance of the Partners. Preparing job offer letters, emails and employment offer contracts. Supporting the development of staff performance review processes and reward schemes. Manage staff punctuality and ensure timesheets are completed timely and are reviewed with respective managers and partners. Taking full responsibility for all annual leave and attendance records. Inducting new staff and overseeing probationary periods. Implement, monitor and report on Human Resource Strategy, Workforce Plans and HR Budget, Implementation of Learning and Development and plans.

Reaponsibilities

Ensure consistent application of the Performance Management System across the service lines; Advise management on Remuneration Strategies that are in line with Industry Standards whilst promoting staff retention and motivation; Ensure compliance with Fabec`s Human Resources policies and procedures and with the Employment and Labour Relations Legislations of the country; Oversee administration related activities including statutory compliances, business licenses; Oversee all office supplies and logistics together with managing efficient use of office equipment; Attend as invitee in Partners/Directors’ meetings as a secretary to such meetings and take minutes, prepare matters arising and follow up on implementation of agreed action plans and; Management and monitoring of office deliverables.

Qualifications and education requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or equivalent; At least 5 Years’ experience in HR function working with and/or leading a medium/Large sized organization; Experience in Audit, Consulting or Legal environment will be an added advantage; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Proficiency in use of IT applications; Up to date knowledge of employment law and legislation High level of professional integrity.
Demonstrate good analytical skills and ability for self-organization and ability to tough but positive decisions.

4.Architectural Engineer

Developing detailed designs. Doing feasibility assessments and site inspections. Preparing and implementing project plans. Researching and providing estimates for projects. Reviewing government regulations and ordinances. Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance. Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems. Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors. Project management duties (e.g., managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.)

Qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers Registration/Licensure as a professional engineer may be required. A minimum of 5 years of industry knowledge may be strongly desired. Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation. Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design. Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met. Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project. Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.
