Morocco National Football Team Squad 2022 World Cup, The national football squad of Morocco is known by the moniker “Lions of the Atlas.” The Royal Moroccan Football Federation, which oversees Moroccan football, has responsibility over it. Since 1934, Morocco has belonged to both FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF). One of the four nations that staged the inaugural Africa Cup of Nations tournament. Morocco became just the second African team to advance to this round of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Younis El-Mhanni, Achraf Bencharki, and Hakim Ziyech are just a few of the exciting talents that Morocco has recently given birth to in Africa.
Although they did not appear in the finals until the World Cup 2002, they qualified for the last three rounds and made it to Russia 2018 after eliminating Côte d’Ivoire on penalties.
Morocco’s 2022 World Cup squad is expected to be named in October, and coach Walid Regragui has hinted at who could be included in his squad for friendlies in September.
The Moroccan national team is expected to play against Croatia on November 23 and against Belgium on October 27

Morocco will face Chile and Paraguay later this month as they continue their preparations for the big match in Qatar. Morocco’s coach has hinted at who will be included in his squad for the friendlies.
Walid Regragui has not yet revealed his final list, but he has said that some of Morocco’s biggest names will feature against Croatia on November 23 and Belgium three days later on Morocco National Football Team Squad 2022 World Cup.
As an independent nation, Morocco has participated in five World Cup finals, participating before 1958 as part of France. Their highest result came in 1986, when they advanced from the group stage to play West Germany in Mexico. They were eliminated by the finalists with a score of 1-0.
