Legal and Human Rights Centre (LHRC Tanzania) is Tanzania’s human rights advocacy organization. LHRC was established in 1995 as a non-governmental, voluntary, non-partisan and not-for-profit sharing organization, with the purpose of working to empower and conscientize the people of Tanzania on legal and human rights. LHRC envisions “a Just and Equitable Society” We are on a Mission to empower the public and promote, reinforce and safeguard human rights and good governance in Tanzania. Every day we invest in workspace facilities, cloud computing platforms and empower our employees to drive innovative programs for the sustainability of the organization. We just want to create legal and human rights awareness among the public and in particular the underprivileged section of society through legal and civic education, advocacy linked with legal aid provision, research and human rights monitoring. LHRC being an Advocacy organization, this program is a hub where advocacy issues. We are on a mission to track and respond to incidents of human rights violations.
