Vacancy: Tally Clerk at Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL)
Job Purpose: The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing, inspecting, and accurately documenting all inventory movements within the assigned team. The objective is to ensure optimal warehouse performance, adherence to KPI standards, and the fulfillment of both internal and external customer service expectations.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in pre-shift handover meetings with the Supervisor to understand assigned duties, plan, and determine the necessary work for the shift.
- Physically supervise the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring they meet required standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of trucks before loading to verify compliance with specified standards.
- Swiftly and accurately count and record all inventory movements of vehicles entering or leaving the site within designated turnaround times.
- Supervise the stacking and de-stacking of sugar in accordance with the correct methods, standards, and procedures.
- Precisely check and record all inventory movements during stacking, unstacking of bins, and customer returns.
- Accurately document picking, internal transfers, and on-site inventory redistribution.
- Record batch numbers for traceability and erect bin cards as necessary.
- Promptly and carefully assess the product quality of incoming and outgoing inventory.
- File and maintain all relevant stock movement notes.
- Actively participate in daily cycle counts and stock takes.
- Lead teams and monitor performance to ensure that work requirements align with targets and standards.
- Identify opportunities and provide suggestions for warehouse improvements.

Job Qualification and Experience:
- Diploma or Certificate qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience.
- Basic computer skills.
Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be offered a Permanent Contract.
