It is normal for this country, our rulers tell us that they have created a Commission to investigate various incidents of accidents, but when those Commissions complete their tasks and hand them over to the rulers, they are not read to the public and instead, they are hidden!
Let me explain by giving examples, a Commission was formed to investigate the fire accident, in the market of Kariakoo, in the city of Dar in July last year and the Commission completed its work and handed it over to the Government, but until today, the report has been hidden in the cabinet and has become a SECRET, so that the citizens let’s not know what happened!

Another report hidden in the “cabinet” after the commission formed to complete its work is the murder of a mining trader in Mtwara, Mussa Hamisi, who was killed by the police and later robbed of his mining money, amounting to 70 million shillings, where the commission was formed in February this year, where until today, the report has been hidden from the people, we have not been told what was revealed in the report!
That is why we citizens are interested, along with the Government’s statement, that the report of the plane crash will be ready within 14 days, since the plane had an accident on the 6th of this month, will the report be released to the Tanzanian public, or is it as usual for this CCM Government, to decide to hide it, so that it is not known to the public of Tanzanians, as they are used to?
Let it be known that the Tanzanian public has the right to know what happened on the day of the accident, because they believe that there was a high degree of negligence by the rescue forces in the plane crash, leading to the death of 19 people, and for the concept to disappear in the minds of the people, the report MUST be made public as promised by the Government.

That is why many of us have witnessed, the young fisherman, Majaliwa, being given a “promo” after it was revealed that he was the hero that day, after breaking the door of the plane, using the paddle of his canoe and thus saving the lives of 26 Tanzanians who were inside that plane.
