  • Reveurse Tanzania on behalf of our reputable client is urgently looking for a Labor associate intern.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research on labor laws, precedents, regulations, and relevant case laws to support legal arguments and provide accurate advice to clients. Meeting with clients to understand their labor-related concerns, providing expert advice, and devising legal strategies to address their needs. Drafting legal documents such as employment contracts, severance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other necessary paperwork related to labor matters. Keeping abreast of changes in labor laws, regulations, and policies to ensure clients’ compliance. Internship at Reveurse

Conduct audits to assess a company’s adherence to labor standards and identify areas that may require improvement. Represent clients in negotiations with employees, labor unions, or regulatory authorities for collective bargaining agreements, settlement discussions, or alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation Assisting clients in developing and implementing employment policies, handbooks, and training programs to ensure compliance with labor laws and promote a positive work environment. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by providing timely updates, excellent customer service, and demonstrating expertise in labor law matters.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law (LL. B) and must have successfully completed Law School in Tanzania and admitted to the bar of advocates in Tanzania.
  • Must have experience in undertaking and preparing legal due diligence reports.
  • Must have the ability to handle clients including attending meetings, providing initial legal advice, and taking the matter through to completion.
  • Must be driven, determined to succeed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple local and international teams.
  • Must be prompted to respond to emails and calls and provide updates in real-time.
