The GIMS Admin Clerk is responsible for contributing to the managing and maintaining a database or system used to collect and track information related to growers, through data collection and validation from source to facilitate data integrity that is informs the KSCL Grower Information Management System. Duties and Responsibilities
Input and update grower information into the GIMS, including contact details, farm data, crop types, and acreage. Regularly audit and validate data to ensure consistency and accuracy from source. Identify and rectify data discrepancies and inconsistencies. Ensure that data-driven insights are readily available for management. Ensure that data security and confidentiality are upheld. Generate reports and analytics from the GIMS to support decision-making processes. Stay updated on new features and updates within the GIMS platform. Provide training and support to growers or internal staff on using the GIMS platform. Maintain records, documents, and contracts related to growers and their agreements with the organization. Organize and archive documents as required. Assist in maintaining compliance with SOPs and contractual obligations related to grower information.
Minimum Requirements
High School Certificate or higher. Strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain data accuracy and document versioning. Proficiency in using computer software, especially database management tools and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel). Experience in data collection using digital software. Experience in Data analysis and report preparation. Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices is an added advantage. Experience in using a hand-held GPS device is an added advantage Above average verbal and written communication skills.
