PositionMarketing Officer

LocationMbozi District in Songwe Region
Contract Duration1 Year (Contract extension subject to funding availability, performance, and mutual agreement)

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to AMCOS’ business activities and develop marketing strategies.
  2. Identify and build partnerships with organizations and training institutions for small business development, micro-credit, and financial planning.
  3. Participate in planning, implementing, and reporting the progress of the KOICA project, “Promote Income-generating through empowering coffee producers’ cooperatives on Climate Change Adaptation in Mbozi District, Southern Highland Tanzania.”
  4. Prepare and share weekly KOICA operating reports promptly.
  5. Prepare Annual/Bi-annual reports for KOICA project and oversee activities execution.
  6. Ensure project activities align with KOICA and Government policies and guidelines.
  7. Participate in stakeholders’ meetings.
  8. Communicate plans, schedules, priorities, and technical issues clearly to staff members, management, and other stakeholders.
  9. Establish networking relationships with stakeholders, including Tanzania Coffee Board, local curing companies, and AMCOS.
  10. Advocate for stakeholders’ participation in the project.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s or degree in Marketing, Social Business, or related majors.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ work experience in Social Economy, Cooperative business, and related fields.
  • Project proposal and report writing skills.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule work, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work in an international and multi-national environment.
