Job Description

Job Purpose

As a Finance Manager, you will be in charge of monitoring all financial activities inside the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and giving strategic financial counsel to top management. You will be responsible for driving financial performance, streamlining procedures, and supporting business growth.


  • Create and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to help the company achieve its goals.
  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to aid decision-making.
  • Analyze financial performance, variations, and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Oversee the creation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, rules, and tax laws.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure operational and financial stability.
  • Optimize cash management strategies, including investments and financing activities.
  • Identify and evaluate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Develop and implement risk-mitigation strategies and controls to protect firm assets.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and insights to senior management and important stakeholders.
  • Assess investment prospects, mergers & acquisitions, and other strategic activities.

Knowledge and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is essential, as is professional certification (such as CPA or CFA). A master’s degree will be an additional advantage.
  • 5 years of progressive experience with financial management
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Experienced in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Tally.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Understanding of the appropriate financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on precision.
