Senior Accountant responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Oversee and manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. Be the guardian of the company’s financial health.
- Budget Planning: Develop, monitor, and update project budgets in accordance with regulations and guidelines, collaborating with project managers for accurate allocation.
- Forecasting and Analysis: Conduct periodic financial forecasting and variance analysis to ensure adherence to budgetary requirements and make informed financial decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for submission to relevant bodies, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and maintaining detailed records.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict compliance with organizational and regulatory financial regulations, procurement rules, and guidelines to maintain financial integrity.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing controls to prevent fraud and irregularities, and supporting internal and external audits.
