MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a daily Chute distribution planSupervise the food scooping process to ensure a beneficiary gets the right entitlementManage food allocated to his/her chute as standardsSupervise Scoopers assigned to the chuteCompile food distribution reportSupervise chute cleanlinessParticipate in food prepositioning exercises
End ResultsDaily distribution plan developed and shared with key SupervisorBeneficiaries get the right entitlement (Refer to FBM reports)Food handling principles adhered tooQuality services renderedQuality reports compiled and submittedThe chute is clean and alwaysActive participation is vivid
KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLESRequired Professional Experience
- One-year experience in working with humanitarian operations,
- Experience in handling commodities management
- Experience in working with refugee programs
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Training in commodities management, and response training.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Advanced Diploma in Accountant, Procurement, Community Economy Development
- A degree is an added advantage
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
- Refugee camps
Physical Requirements
- Should be physically fit
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English and Swahili
