We are currently looking For Site Administrator / Purchaser and Site Manager – Power Plant to support one of our clients on a Power Plant project located in Tanzania.
1.Site Manager – Power Plant
The site manager carries out the whole site project turnkey execution of the power plants in the respect of Health, Safety and Environment, schedule, budget and contract obligations. The site manager will drive execution and administrate as P&L the Gas turbine centerline project comprising of 1 or 2 Gas Turbine & generator plus plant auxiliaries on a turnkey basis with a site budget, plus subcontractor. He reports functionally to the C&C Field Operation Manager and operationally to the Project Manager. His tasks and duties are in in particular but not limited to:
- Manage the site team: Site Organization, Rules, Timely Mobilization /Demobilization of personnel
- Timely adapt/ optimize site organization in line with project execution and possible variation of hypothesis
- Provide the focal point contact for the customer, and subcontractors on all site related issues, including technical advice, and construction execution strategies subcontractors, to ensure accomplishment of project/customer requirements
- With support of staff (mechanical supervisor, electrical supervisor …) manage field execution including the management of subcontractor(s) (heavy lift, construction…) to ensure all project performance requirements, quality, EHS, schedule, and budget are achieved
- Manage site cost within budget (respect staff plan budget and subcontractor Lumpsum), manage cost of quality, local purchasing process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Site management, preferably on Power Plant projects
- Proven leadership experience on operational management on multi-discipline and/or multicultural teams
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical and organization issues.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage P&L / subcontracts
- Fluent English is mandatory
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Capability to take decision when information is scarce
2.Site Administrator / Purchaser
Issue and expedite Purchase Orders and ensure on time delivery of required parts. Direct report of site manager, support site manager and site team in all administrative tasks. Significant opportunity to demonstrate creative problem-solving, communication and sourcing process skills in a complex, global and fast-paced environment.
The Main Tasks And Duties Are
- Ensure administrative management of the site
- Provide front line contact for all company and contractors team members for logistic support and relation with local administration
- Ensure insurance/interface with local bank, opening/closure Site accounts
- Perform site finance control in respect of local legal rules and company integrity.
- Reviewing subcontractor EWOs
- Drive site reporting and tracking in close relation with site manager.
- Lead Procurement activities in compliance with Sourcing requirements
- Collaborate with the C&C Sourcing Procurement Regional Leader to identify the suppliers in the suppliers panel
Requirements
- Proven experience in Site Administration / Purchasing, preferably on Power Plant projects
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Previous experience in Tanzania is an asset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
