Hubert Kairuki Memorial University (HKMU) is looking for qualified and well experienced Tanzanians, to fill the following positions:
Vacancy: Accountant at Hubert Kairuki Memorial University
Summary Description:
In charge of managing the university’s daily financial accounting tasks, such as creating financial reports, planning and budgeting accounts, keeping the university’s accounts compliant with international financial reporting standards and guidelines, and making sure the university complies with all applicable national tax laws,
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gives permission for payments.
- manages and prepares payrolls.
- accepts vouchers for payments.
- oversees the completion of the final accounting.
- helps with the auditing of final accounting.
- swiftly answers audit questions about financial matters at HKMU.
- creates audit responses for accounting and financial issues.
- carries out any additional tasks that the bursar assigns.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must hold all professional certifications, such as CPA (T), ACCA, or ACA, and have at least four (4) years of relevant work experience in a respectable company.
