Responsibilities:
- Keep track of your daily financial transactions using accounting software.
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Prepare financial statements such profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Prepare and file tax returns.
- Perform frequent audits of financial transactions and records.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
- Provide financial reports and analyses to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferable.
- 2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a related function.
- Proficient with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
- Strong focus on detail and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work alone and prioritize activities appropriately.
- Understanding of accounting norms and regulations.
- CPA certification is preferred.
