Regional Governments and Local Authorities are a full ministry which is under the Presidency and managed by the Minister of State assisted by two deputies as managers. There is also the Secretary General who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Government’s activities. One of the tasks of this Ministry is to coordinate all regional development plans with Local Authorities under the presidential office. The administration of this Ministry is under the Minister who is also a member of the Cabinet of Tanzania. Thus, graduates from Health Colleges recognized by the Government are encouraged to send job applications from 09 – 22 July 2023. The available employment opportunities are for diploma graduates. 77 Ajira za Afya Tamisemi the Ministry of Health is headed by a Minister who is appointed by the President of Tanzania. The ministry operates under the guidance of the Permanent Secretary, who oversees the day-to-day operations and administration. The ministry works in collaboration with various stakeholders including other government ministries, international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and development partners to achieve its objectives.
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR JOB APPLICANTS
- All applicants must have general qualifications as follows: i. Be a citizen of Tanzania; He should be no more than 45 years old; He should have full training certificates for the field he studied (Fourth, Sixth Form Certificate as well as Professional Certificate and full registration (Full Registration) or active License to work in the relevant profession) He should not be a Government Employee or an Employee of Religious Organization Hospitals whose salary is paid by the Government; Applicants employed with an employment contract from Development Stakeholders in the Health Sector are required to attach copies of the contract and letters of confirmation from the Directors of the relevant Councils; He has never been fired, quit his job or retired in the service of The public; Have a National Identification Number (NIDA); and Attach a copy of the birth certificate.
IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER FOR ALL APPLICANTS

4.0 GRADUATES WHO STUDY ABROAD
All applicants who studied Secondary Education abroad are required to obtain an Equivalent Number starting with the letter EQ… from the Tanzanian Examination Council to enable them to enter the Employment System; and Applicants who have studied in Universities Abroad are required to get Accreditation of their studies from the Tanzania Universities Commission (TCU) so that their certificates can be recognized and get validity to be used in this country.
Any application submitted by post or delivered directly to the President’s Office – TAMISEMI will not be processed.
