The holding company oversees KCB Kenya – incorporated with effect from January 1, 2016 – and all KCB’s regional units in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan. It also owns KCB Insurance Agency, KCB Capital, KCB Foundation and all associate companies. The holding company was set up to among other things to enhance the Group’s capacity to access unrestricted capital and also enable investment in new ventures outside banking regulations, achieve operational and strategic autonomy for the Group’s operating entities and enhance corporate governance across the Group and oversight in management of subsidiaries.

1. Senior Manager Advisory

Strategic Growth: Work with the HOD & MD, to originate debt capital markets transactions in Kenya and across the East African region. Partnership Management: In conjunction with the corporate banking team and the HOD, leverage off the bank’s customer base in order to originate debt capital markets mandates. Innovation: Develop capital structures that are responsive to customers’ needs. People Management: Grow a high functioning analyst team with deep capacity to execute capital markets transactions.

  • Compliance: Monitor workflow activities to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures across the sales and business development channels. Ensure procedures, TATs, SLAs and audit items are maintained/ closed within deadlines.
  • Market Mapping: Undertaking detailed economic, sectorial and company research and analysis in support of investment banking transactions. Additionally, analyzing and synthesizing financial and operating information about companies and sectors to gain insights and develop opportunities for clients.
  • Deal Structuring: Participating in the execution of investment banking transactions by developing.

2.Manager Digital Channels 

Provide technical support for existing Agency, Mobiloan, Internet Banking, Mobi, C2B, MTS, Channel Manager systems (herein later referred to as Digital Channels) and implementation of related projects. Delivering business solutions by ensuring that they are well tested and are rolled out in a manner that does not adversely affect business processes. Work closely with IT Security to ensure that the Digital Channels money transfer services are well secured and in implementing SSL and other encryption certificates for ensuring robust and secure Digital Channels services. Roll out of business solutions, ensuring that they are well tested and are rolled out in a manner that does not adversely affect business processes, and providing processes and training to the users.

3.Data Insights Analyst 

Gather and analyse data from various sources within and outside the business to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to the brand and market landscape while ensuring accessibility to the wider business. Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, marketing campaigns, and product offerings, and provide regular updates to the teams. Conduct market research and identify emerging industry trends, consumer behaviour, and potential opportunities for the brand.

  • Develop and maintain performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate brand performance and assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies.  This includes product analysis reports, consumer behaviours, trends and insights reports for strategic decision making.  Evaluating product performance insights, trends, and strategic actions to enable product development and enhancement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations in order to find the right questions to ask from data with practical insights and analysis to support decision making at all levels of the organization.

4.Senior Manager Cloud Platforms 

The role holder will act as the leader a team of that is composed of technical experts on cloud platforms that support business critical financial services for the Bank on both on-premises and public cloud. Lead a team of technical experts maintaining KCB cloud platfroms systems running on diverse technologies such as RedHat OpenShift and public cloud (AWS, Azure, Oracle).  Responsible for ensuring conformance to security standards for all cloud platforms.  Responsible for CapEx and OpEx planning within the cloud platforms domain.

  • Accountable for building, maintaining, and supporting high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable, and distributed cloud platforms.
  • Provide leadership in interfacing with application development teams to ensure applications fit within the cloud platforms with scalability, reliability and security designed.
  • Provide leadership and execution of automation of systems and services at massive scale to support scaling of digital services.
  • Establish effective relationship with suppliers and partners to influence their plans and maximize value delivery from the relationship for all cloud platforms.

5.Senior Dealer Corporate Sales

The role holder will increase the Banks wallet share and maximize shareholders’ wealth by generating foreign exchange revenue from Corporate and Institutional banking client base. This will be achieved by proactively pricing foreign currency transactions, acquiring new to bank business as well as management of existing clientele.

  • Implement best practice to maximize bank profitability through digital innovation and leveraging on existing bank technology platforms. 
  • Drive Treasury revenue through working closely with the Corporate, Institutional & Investment Banking Divisions to coordinate Foreign Exchange Solutions. 
  • Actively offer risk management solutions to clients. I.e., Spot Fx, Forwards and Swaps to Corporate and Institutional Banking clients. 
  • Drive Segmented Sales & provide custom made solutions to specific clients &sectors. • Telephone and physical customer calls to enable sales stimulation. 
  • Organize and plan both prospective and courtesy calls to manage relationships. 

6.HR Analyst

Reporting to the Team Lead – HR Information systems, the Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics from and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance.

  1. Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS – Oracle Fusion) and payroll (PerPay), LMS (Percipio and KCB LearningHub), management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  2. Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to HR Metrics of recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  3. Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.

7.Head Group Cybersecurity

Reporting to the Group Chief Technology Officer, the purpose of the role is to safeguard KCB critical information systems against external aggression from cyber-attacks; respond to, resolve, and recover from Cyber/IT Security incidents and attacks through proactive security incidence monitoring.

  • Establishing and maintaining KCB Group’s cybersecurity vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected and defended.
  • Developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure proper operations and maintenance of Technology assets.
  • Ensuring the properties of security, authenticity, accountability, non-repudiation and reliability of information and information processing systems are preserved.
  • Promoting user awareness of good cybersecurity practices, current threats, and the Group’s cybersecurity policies & procedures among all Group employees, vendors, and customers.
