1.Digital Marketing Manager

  • Digital Marketing Specialist is someone who is responsible for developing and managing digital marketing strategies and campaigns.

2.Call Center – Team Leader

We are looking for a skilled Call center Agent manager to supervise daily operations and personnel aiming for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop objectives for the call center’s day-to-day activities
    Conduct effective resource planning to maximize the productivity of resources (people, technology etc.)
  • Collect and analyze call-center statistics (sales rates, costs, customer service metrics etc.)

3.Board Secretary Pro-Bono 

WIMA is currently looking for a Volunteer Board Secretary in its Tanzania Office.

His/her role is critically important for the board to effectively perform and drive the competitive and performance excellence of the organization. S/he is the gatekeeper of corporate governance excellence of the organization.

S/he needs skills and knowledge beyond that of a lawyer, accountant, corporate governance or compliance specialist.

The best board secretary is the keeper of secrets and a prized strategic and influential advisor who help boards navigate the right path by avoiding risk, complying with or exceeding regulatory standards and remain faithful to organization goals and values.

The board secretary responsibilities are.

  • Organizing meetings. A board secretary schedules and prepares invitations for meetings. A person in this position also creates agendas according to the organization’s bylaws and distributes them to members, along with any supporting documentation.
  • Building communication. Being privileged with access to board members and executives, a secretary bridges the communication gap between them. If possible, they advise the board on specific issues.
  • Preparing materials. A board secretary arranges meeting materials, such as reports and presentations, in accordance with the company’s guidelines. These materials are distributed before the meeting unless the organization’s regulations state otherwise.
  • Recording minutes. This is one of the essential secretary responsibilities on a board of directors. A secretary extracts key information from meetings, takes detailed minutes, and sends them to the full board of directors within a week. This way, board members can review materials while the meeting discussions are still “fresh” in their minds.

4.Branch IT Supervisor 

Assist the regional information manager to complete the IT-related work of the trading branch and production plant. If there is a project demand, he will travel to the surrounding areas to help the regional information manager to complete the IT project implementation work, arrange and supervise the work of the IT information specialist, and at the same time report to the regional information manager report.

5.Deputy Finance Controller

  • To assist the CFO in performing the functions pertaining to the Finance Department and Corporate Secretariat office to support compliance with relevant statutes governing the company.
  • At the same time, the recruit would be required to assist in the smooth functioning of the department.
  • Prepare annual financial statements, tax returns, and required regulatory returns as well as oversee the external audit process and effectively manage the Finance team across all the branches.
  • Management of accounting systems and external support including month-end close procedures.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data on the chosen IT platforms
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax-related regulations, laws, and filing requirements.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reporting to the management team.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Commerce/ Finance/ Insurance & Banking/ Business Administration or related discipline.
  • CPA (Tanzania) Qualification (Compulsory)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a finance role
  • Qualified accountant (preferably a financial accounting-focused qualification eg CPA.
  • Experience ideally with an audit practice background
  • Experience in managing a finance function in a fast-moving, rapidly growing environment
