1.Material Control 23 Positions
Responsible for the receipt, dispatch, storage, statistics, accounting, safety, loading and unloading, and outsourcing management of engineering installation materials. Collaborate effectively with the warehouse manager to ensure smooth operations. Manage the actual receipt, dispatch, storage, and maintenance of engineering installation materials. In terms of material and equipment receipt management, oversee the reception, counting, and inspection of incoming materials. Ensure that materials are stored in accordance with warehouse standards and update material tags and storage locations. Promptly report to the materials supervisor for updates. Manage material and equipment storage by performing maintenance every three months and adhering to material storage requirements for various items.
Uninspected materials should be stored in a designated area until inspection is completed. Report non-compliant materials after quality checks and place them in the designated area for further handling. Conduct regular monthly material inventory to ensure accurate stock levels. Additionally, complete tasks assigned by leadership. In terms of material and equipment management, supervise the inspection and receipt of incoming materials, and promptly collect various quality assurance documents. Report material acceptance to the client and quality department and verify material deliveries against contract terms. Monitor material dispatch and review material requisitions from construction units. Confirm that materials have passed quality inspections and organize the return of non-compliant materials Develop material storage plans and regularly conduct maintenance and inventory of materials and equipment.
2.Lifting Supervisors – 3 Positions
Understanding and implementation of lifting procedure and local legislations. Ensuring that all personnel involved in lifting operations understand the requirements of this procedure. Facilitate and supervise critical lifting operations as well as non-critical lifting operations. Maintaining lifting equipment stock levels. Ensure rigging and hardware arrangements are suitable and in line with LOP. JOB REQUIREMENT
Relevant lifting management work experience more than 5 years. Age 45 years old below. University degree Strong English writing and speaking skills. 4. Careful and serious, strong sense of responsibility. Able to independently complete the development of lifting programme and comply with EACOP standards. Able to independently lead and manage a lifting team, and regularly train the team on safe lifting. Need to be personally equipped with a work computer Need to be certified as a Lifting Supervisor by LEEA or have work experience certification as a Lifting Supervisor by a third-party organisation recognised by EACOP.
3. Riggers – 6 Positions
Knows the rigging and mechanical – handling operations techniques (incl. cross-hauling, etc.) and how to use/operate portable lifting equipment (winch, chain and lever hoist, cable, etc.) in limited/confined environment. Issue lifting equipment/accessories from their store. Visual inspection of lifting equipment/accessories before issue and after return, from/back to store. Ensuring the correct selection of lifting equipment/accessories (as per the approved LOP). Accept returned lifting equipment/accessories back into the rigging loft. Maintain the loft lifting equipment register and to keep all copies of OEM certifications and thorough examination reports.
Pre/Post-Use inspection of lifting equipment. Ensuring the correct selection (accordance to LOP) and fitting of appropriate rigging and hardware with due consideration given to the protection of the load. Ensuring loads are not handled whilst above waist height and personnel never to attempt to stop a swinging load manually. Responsible for returning back of lifting equipment/accessories back to the rigging loft after completion of the lifting operation at the end of working hours – depend on working condition. The correct and safe use of taglines where the Signalman has deemed them necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Relevant rigger work experience more than 5 years. Age 45 years old below. Fluent in spoken English. Careful and serious, strong sense of responsibility. Able to master the use of all spreaders and maintenance programme. Rigger certificate recognised by Tanzania is required.
