1.Advisor Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Within this role, you are responsible for Human Resources in a growing company. Mutual respect, team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and employee engagement are the main aspects of the company culture.
  • The main responsibility for the HR team is to proactively uphold this unique company culture. This is done through recruitment, to hire the right person for the right job is essential to keep our valuable company culture alive.
  • In addition, you focus on the development of the employees, like education, career counseling and coaching.
  • You inform the employees about employee benefits through the HR handbook, where the most important topics and policies are covered.
  • You maintain the relationships with external vendors / employment agencies and keep in touch with government officials, (health) insurance companies and other relevant organizations.

2.Specialist Quality & Safety

The Specialist Quality & Safety collaborates closely with colleagues on the three different stations. The department Quality assurance, safety & environment is responsible for the quality management system and compliance with Tanzanian health, safety & environment regulations, plus company’s internal standards. Process auditing and following up on improvement plans is a big part of this role.

Responsibilities

  • The Specialist Quality & Safety collaborates closely with colleagues on the three different stations.
  • The department Quality assurance, safety & environment is responsible for the quality management system and compliance with Tanzanian health, safety & environment regulations, plus company’s internal standards. Process auditing and following up on improvement plans is a big part of this role.
  • Conducting Safety and Health audits / process auditing in three stations.
  • Recording/registering incidents for each station.
  • Assisting departments in carrying out risk analysis and proposing containment measures.
  • Following up on improvement plans.
  • Conducting training and advising departments on a specific safety, health and environmental best practice subjects.

3.Team Leader – Construction Responsibilities

  • General maintenance, planning monthly schedules and labor allocation for day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain Company required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance functions as directed.
  • Evaluate facilities (Greenhouse) to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
  • Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments, delegates assignments based on team members’ skills and experience.
  • Assist team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
  • Responsible for the safety of individuals on team and those affected by any maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the team’s performance, attendance and disciplinary issues.
    Submits requests for maintenances and give reports to the Station Manager.
    Involved with recruitment and annual employee reviews.
