1.Custom Declarant Supervisor

Control of the quality of customs declaration input with objective having zero litigation. Provide first point of contact to support query resolution and guidance for the declaration personnel. The role involves completing customs entry requirements according to customers’ requests, whilst adhering to and complying with company and external authority customs requirements and legislation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regular training for customs declaration
  • Monitor and implement all new regulations
  • Liaise with COMs to ensure that declarant officers support the business efficiently and have the right technical capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to optimise procedures to maximise synergies, utilise resources and always remain compliant.
  • Liaise with customers (internal or external where necessary) to request clearance instructions and information required to complete the customs declarations prior to shipping.

2.Port Documentation Officer

This position is responsible for port operational activities for the Project.

  • Receiving and dispatching all equipment and shipments related to the Project.
  • Tracking casing and equipment to ensure that all equipment is loaded as planned.
  • Checking information in the port and internal systems against actual documentation and ensuring cargo is handled appropriately (including delicate sensitive material & hazardous cargo);
  •  Coordinating the berthing of the supply vessels.
  • Liaising with port crew to ensure safety and load stability.
  • Assuring supply vessels are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner.
  • Preparing all relevant documentation including manifests and dock receipts.
  • Providing accurate reporting on vessels’ movements.
  • Maintaining the vessel schedule.

3.Fire Marshal (10 post)

  • Develop plans and implement comprehensive fire prevention, suppression, inspection, training and general education programs.
  • Respond to fire and rescue alerts. Makes high-level strategic and tactical decisions for firefighting and rescue methods and directs the work of all units with regard to fire mitigation, lifesaving and property protection.
  • Manage daily rescue operations.
  • Directs and trains the fire departments on firefighting methods and related topics; grant and gives advice to the subordinates.
  • Develop and implement objectives, targets, policies and priorities for the given area of responsibility.
  • Determine resource needs; recommend and implement policy actions.
  • Assist annual operation budget, and plan for independent service requirements; conducting research and preparing reports on a variety of related topics; and recommendations for improvement of the general procedures and operations of the department head.
  • Responsible for ordering station supplies, truck maintenance, building maintenance and other rotating related facilities as per the departments’ purchase policies.

4.Shunting Coordinator Officer 

Key Contact for EALS at Port who assist and report to Transport Manager to ensure smooth running of daily operations related to all EALS shunting activities from and to the port(s)/site(s)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the receipt and dispatch of empty/loaded vehicles from and to all EALS operational port(s)/site(s)
  • Prepare report summary for trucks received/dispatched on daily basis at all EALS operational sites/ports
  • Ensure that drivers and workers adhere to respective Port/Sites health and safety regulations
  • Manage truck traffic into the port(s)/site(s) to avoid excessive queuing/congestion including providing clear, correct, and safe directions to drivers and coordinate’s communication between drivers and Road Transport Team
  • Understands and minimizes possible risks (e.g., blind spots) to drivers, vehicle, and cargo during port(s)/site(s) entry or exit

5.Customer Service Officer

To update customers on the shipment clearance status
Receive import orders/documents from the client (tariffs already validated through a quotation). In case of new business (new or existing client), a new quotation will be issued in accordance with company rules
Check documentation to ensure that it is correct and complete
Request and follow up with client/supplier for missing documentation and more detailed instructions if necessary
Follow-up on clearing of consignments on both end from Declaration, Shipping line and Operations
Inform client on files processing progress (standard or specific report, according to quotation) daily
Alert the client/COM in case of operational issue (potential or real) and provide solutions
Record customer complaints and initiate corrective action
Must know at all-time what is the process status of each file within scope

6.Port Documentation Officer
